Dr. Hema Jha is a senior dentist with 20+ years of experience. Dr. Jha graduated in dentistry from the top-most medical school of Nepal, B.P.Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (B.P.K.I.H.S) in 2005. After that, she practiced as a general dentist for 4 years. In 2009, she earned a scholarship from the Government of Nepal to pursue a masters degree in Prosthodontics and Implantology from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong Universisty of Science and Technology (H.U.S.T). On her return to Nepal, she worked for the government of Nepal at the Kanti children's hospital. She later worked as a lecturer of Prosthodontics at Chitwan Medical College followed by Kantipur Dental College, where the main focus was on teaching aspiring dental graduates. Now, she is fully devoted to her private practice, Shangrila Dental Clinic. Dr. Jha has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and is committed to providing the highest quality dental care to all of her patients.

Dr. Ujjwal Pyakurel is an Orthodontist and is extensively trained in lingual braces and teeth aligners. Dr. Pyakurel, completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Science (B.P.K.I.H.S) Nepal in 2004. He did his Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S) in Orthodontics from West China School of Stomatology Sichuan University. Currently he works as an Associate Professor in private dental college. Dr. Pyakurel is in-house consultant for all type of braces at Shangrila Dental Clinic. His area of interest includes clear aligner, lingual orthodontics and digital dentistry. Dr.Pyakurel was trained in Invisalign orthodontics and has also got the certification course of clear aligner from abroad. He has also obtained a training on lingual Orthodontics from India and short-term orthodontic fellowship on advanced orthodontics, lingual orthodontics and digital orthodontics from Taiwan. He can offer many aesthetic options like lingual braces, ceramic braces and aligner to adults who tend to prefer these over traditional braces for aesthetic reasons.

Dr. Bishwo Prachanda Sedhain is our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He performs all the surgical wisdom teeth extraction.

Aarju Ranapal is the dental hygienist at Shangrila Dental Clinic. She has completed her 3 years of dental hygiene course and has over 4 years of experience as a dental hygienist.

Asma Kapali is our Dental assistant. She the glue that keeps the practice together! She is responsible for the overall successful organization and running of the practice, ensuring that the standards of the practice are upheld.
